That is such a strange take. What's the point of having different jobs then if you ask for them to play all the same? Just play that one job then.
Yeah. IMO jobs within the same role have gotten too similar in play. It's most noticeable with healers and tanks but you can see it happening to DPS jobs within their gear divisions to a degree already as well. Variety is the spice of life. Which means SE needs to add spice to FFXIV to make it more lively.

Button bloat is not a problem, the people who its a supposed problem for don't need to press all their buttons to clear the content they do.

People here practically drool over two more DPS jobs. they'll remove all dps skills from the jobs, give the best ones to the new jobs so they are shiny and powerful.. and the rest get redistributed to the older dps jobs. I would rather they forgo the new jobs, and try and add in more job identity than just what soul crystal you have equipped, which seems to be the direction they are heading.Yeah. What they really need to do with new DPS jobs going forward is build them with a manner that results in them doing ridiculously low dps output unless the player actually learns how to play the job and properly make use of it's kit. It's about time they start releasing "advanced" jobs that require reaching a much higher skill ceiling. >.>wrong forum for that opinion. They'll just continue to do what they've always done, and gut the early game a little more so they can have new buttons to press at the new cap. Level 70 and 80 will feel a lot worse so that level 100 can feel really good for people on playstation and xbox controllers.

I’ve never understood why people claim buttons are limited because of cross hotbars, cross hotbars have 48 skill spots that are easily accessible which is far beyond even the most button heavy class
If anything it’s limited to 40 at a max for 4 regular hotbars rather than being limited by cross hotbars
PVP combos should be optional for PVE.
I'm expecting warrior either Path/Eye to be deleted and replaced by new skill *Butchers Block*
