congrats to you guys as well. maybe i can get off my tail and get back to the grind. my work schedule has kinda messed up my playtime so i lost my normal group i ran with. these are surely not meant to be done with shouts and pugs.

Ahah you definitely wouldn't want to do Ifrit X with a PUG. But I understand, myself and another main member have jobs that have sort of been messing with event scheduling recently, and it's tough to work around that when 7 other people are depending on you
i know the feeling. i was in a dkp shell, but due to an additional contract i picked up(work for myself) i am spending quite a bit of time on the road. when out of town i can get online and craft, but that's about all my laptop can handle(even if i am where i can get net). i may be home for a month straight, but then i may be gone for the next weeks in a row.
the problem was we had a very small static hardcore group(around 11 members) that was very selective in who we would run with. with me and another member gone alot for work they had no choice besides getting a new group together. i don't blame them and really miss the group, but i wish them the best. it's hard to expect any group to depend on you when you may play for a month straight and then tell them to wait and come back a few weeks later and expect them to still be there.
edit: i know i can't do ifrit extreme with a pug, but hopefully while my schedule is messed up i can get all the stuff leading up to it a little at a time. by the time i get that done maybe my playtime will open back up and then look at it again. at least that way i wouldn't feel like the group was having to "pull" me through content.
