I've recently turned off ublock, and I'm inclined to agree. It's already worth it lmao
This part in bold is important. Saying "it's their money and it's none of your business" whenever the topic of microtransactions comes up (as some on the forums do) hurts the community as a whole. When microtransactions become scummy and overpriced, not buying into them should be encouraged.

Jeez that bike price is unforgiveable in how high it is, and there are enough other examples to already be angry over.I've recently turned off ublock, and I'm inclined to agree. It's already worth it lmao

The "my money I spend it how I want!" is just a lost cause I've found, friendships have been hurt because of trying to fight this losing war that I can't bring myself to keep the chastisement going. I would like that a large, co-ordinated boycott on MTX in general, but that time was decades ago and it just won't gain enough traction. The things like the WoW BC "classic" one was funny, but Blizzard have been putting out more MTX for wow classic so I wouldn't be surprised if they made bank on it already, and still make enough money. I would love for the system to just be pay for game > pay for expansions, if the game is good it'll make bank, but it doesn't make "all of the money" and that is the bare minimum it seems for AAA gaming (at least I can still get a good 10 dollar indie game that'll roll me for a while. If I ever get keen to pay for something off the mogstation I just hit steam instead.
