I've run into the latter type way more often personally.

It's the insufferable "How dare you waste my time" variant that ticks me off the most, though. They should just party with their friends if they're unwilling to accept even slightly suboptimal gameplay.

Oh I have...melee LBed a w2w pull. At least they deleted that one mob I guess? Would much rather a ranged LB.

If anything I rather range LB1 a w2w at least once over an LB2 melee on the final boss of a dungeon.

I saw this today, actually. To be fair, I think they meant to clip the whole pack, but they were a physical ranged DPS so their LB went in a straight line and... let's just say the line did not go as planned.

Nobody in the group said a word about it. I think we all felt an unspoken agreement to just pretend nothing happened.

Yeah ofcourse why bother someone who makes an honest mistake? Nothing to pretend just move on. I play a red mage and I LB mobs all the time and i make sure to use lb during a boss fight if the meelee dosn't.
