A lot of people are doing the following

-getting at least 1 class to 50
-leveling several other DOM / DOW to rank 30-33 'ish
-DOH / DOL maxing as much as they wish

There's a big possibility that 'most' aspects of DOM / DOW will be changing in the coming months, plus new content. I don't think this is a bad model to consider for your time.
