    You just basically summed up 3.x MCH. And I don't blame you for that. The devs could easily make the RNG feel LESS bad if we got a 25% chance of getting 1-4 Feathers instead of a 50% chance of getting 1 Feather, with the chance of getting Fan Dance 3 stay the same BUT also have a 50% chance to get both Fan Dance 3 AND Fan Dance 4. As for the GCD procs, having the 50% to get both single target and AoE GCD procs is a good idea, the problem is the procs share 1 timer and the RNG proc DOES NOT reflect that fact, so either remove the RNG or roll back the procs back to 5.x Dancer with a trait that gives Dancers the ability too have 50% chance to proc the single target skills (if using single target as an example)and 50% chance to get both single target and AoE skills, MAYBE have a 50% chance for Sabre Dance to proc Starfall Dance if the devs are feeling spicy.

    Yeah that is what I understood about old MCH as well from their proc-based nature. Which was a source of frustration if your trying to do your normal builder.

    I personally don't think it would be bad if dancer could get multiple feathers but more so on a sliding scale. Something like: "High chance to get 1, much lower chance to get 4."

    I'd like some amount decision making, rather than only reacting to procs while playing dancer. And before you scream "dont play a proc class if you dont like procs, i dont play dancer because its a proc class. I play dancer because i like the aesthetic and because i like that movement and damage are independent, so managing to do both correctly simultaneously is satisfying. It could use being less simplistic though.

    DNC is only half a proc class anyway. You still have a base combo that has a 100% chance of proccing on itself.

    Decision making on DNC has been seriously neutered in EW (removed proc overwriting, removed melee phases), but you still have some decision making during the burst phase which is priority based, like BRD.

    I like it because it has procs personally and i dont think it should change, if you like it despite it's proc's thats good but it's not a reason for it to change.
    sure dancer is simple but at least it's the enjoyable type of simple and not just pressing the same button over and over or following a really basic 1, 2, 3 combo.

    I would be careful of saying dancer is too proc focused. There are very few jobs in the game that have procs at all. Having one of our plethora of jobs be heavily-proc focused is good for job variety.

    Yeah I'ma say no on this. We don't have enough proc based jobs, and Dancer has the lowest APM of the three ranged jobs. IF anything it could use more procs (outside of the primary Tech finish window, during its more downtime phases). Ranged inherently should be much higher APM then the other jobs as a trade off for their mobility, instead of the stupid Ranged tax, making it so that if you wanna do max deeps and be 20 meters from the boss, then you are gonna have to play "flight of the bumble bee" on your controller or mkb while everyone else is singing their "ABC's".

    That and all ranged should be the primary buffers in the game for raid damage, but thats another discussion.

    Maybe we should make MCH proc based again make a big thread for SE to give us more procs and priority systems in future jobs. I'd sign this in a heartbeat.
