Really well written. What are the crafting abilities DoH use? I didn't see them in the DoH post.

A tip for PLDs
Shield Bash has a high stun rate, and immediately following it up with a provoke should allow you to keep the NM even went it wants to go for a stroll.
Edit: Well written, and intelligent advice. Good effort dude.

This is basically what we're using now. Super awesome write up though!
dude you cant post stuff like this, i posted a similar srat:http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...y-Hamlet-Strat and now im getting sued for copyright infringement. this stuff is supposed to be a secret
Just want to point out that kiting the nm isn't necessary in golden bazaar or hyrstmill. If the tank gets initial hate before the archers start beating on the boss you can just let it go do its thing when they change targets and it will stay there for the entirety of the battle, which frees up the tank to dps on the lesser mobs.
AAaaaand the position of the outfitter in aleport is wrong, I will demand that the person made this map fix it immediately!
Other misc tips, on whm for golden bazaar i go in with cleric stance and garudas wile and just stonega/aeroga the mobs as they come in, this gives you hate on most, if not all the mobs. From there you can pop sentinel, run around the battle field letting the archers shoot the mobs trailing you and once you have completed a full lap you can pop shroud of saints and all the mobs will go back to the archers that shot them. This makes gold bazaar incredibly easy to heal, and you can pretty much just use regen on everything to keep them healed because the mobs will be so evenly spread out for 95% of the battle.

Extremely helpful write-up. Thank you very much.
the only thing I would add is for DoL to have at least 70 Gathering. This makes picking up pots 100%. With a level 1 broken tool Raptorskin Jerkin, Raptorskin Culottes, Raptorskin Smithy's Gloves, and Linen Gaiters will get you 70 gathering
I wouldn't say there is any single one set that you need, what I work with though, and isn't too hard to get your hands on depending on what your craft of choice is is the following:
Piece By Piece/By the Book (from ARM/GSM level 45 ability)
Unerring Hand/Trick of the Trade (this with Piece By Piece will give you an automatic 50%)
Sure And Steady (a nice bonus to ensure a good 20-30% off of your first swing [there are all sorts of alternatives for this])
Fulfillment (same as above)
Great Strides (this is optional, but it ensures you can get 100% in 3-4 steps)
I doubt that this is the "optimal" setup, but it is more than good enough to ensure 100% within 3-4 steps, which translates to about 25 seconds of crafting.

The big four are as follows:
-Piece By Piece, 45ARM
-By the Book, 4GSM
-Grand Design, 30WVR
-Tricks of the Trade, 30ALC
Combined, these give 100% completion in 4 steps with no risk. This is highly important because you will be crafting with a zero durability weathered tool and your turnaround time during certain points is going to be important (depending on how well your team is functioning.)
Don't get discouraged by the levels if you're just starting to work on DoH - you can hit 30 in a matter of hours and 45 isn't much worse. The real grind on DoH is the final leg of 48-50. Also, burn leves north of R30 to be efficient since most synths below this are pretty much easy to farm/buy.
