Where are the Zodiark/Themis/Lahabrea minions?

You can frame it however you want - both Zodiark and Elidibus are significantly bigger aspects of the story than just about anything else, and certainly Athena. With no Elidibus, there is no going back in the past, and that's not even touching with the interactions with him as Themis in Pandaemonium. No Zodiark, there is no star remaining and no Hydaelyn plan whatsoever since it's dependent on his existence. The least they can do is provide a minion for them.

There is no Pandaemonium story without Athena. I want a Themis minion as much as the next person but there's no one more important to that story than her. There would have been no reason for interactions with Themis without her actions.

I expect some of these we might see in future Rising events, Gold Saucer, or treasure maps like Hyth.

We don't have a Mitron minion even though we don't have an Eden story without Mitron. We probably wouldn't have ever even met Gaia (who got a minion) without Mitron. Personally I don't think Mitron needs a minion, and I'm also happy that we got an Athena minion, but your logic doesn't really work when considering Eden.

True. Plus, the 'Nidhogg Slayer' title or whatever that one was comes to mind as well. Spoilers don't seem to be an issue when it comes to this stuff.

My point was being spoiled by seeing the being that has been alluded to throughout the entire history of the game and revealed near the climax after 100+ hours of gameplay for the first time as a cartoon in Lower Limsa.

I don't think that's equivalent to G'raha considering he shows up in ARR and anyone who couldn't guess the Exarch's identity probably skipped cutscenes and doesn't care anyway.

And it's not named Venat. Just as the other Ancient minions don't have their names to preserve their identities. What would you call a Zodiark minion to hide that it's Zodiark? Tentacle demon?

I don't think Venat's appearance is a big deal anyway. If they did a Hydaelyn minion, that would be completely different.

There's probably a Greek word they could use for it. They did that with Aidoneus (Emet) and Philos (Hythlo).

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. Athena doesn't really have any chance to get a minion outside of Anabaseios, while Themis could be thrown into literally anything and people wouldn't care, so I'm thinking the developers wanted to make her now and do Themis later.

For example, it could've been called wind-up Messiah. Or Martyr. Or something else in Greek
(Thankfully the devs aren't so unimaginative as you, so I think it'll be fine)

Meanwhile Themis minion could use his real name since all wind-up erich and athena use their name as well.

Also are we forgetting that they already spoil Hydaelyn and Zodiark themselves when they show Amano art prior to EW release..?

I would love to have a Zodiark mount or minion. But then i also Copium hopium they utilise him and Themis in some form in the future. (I do highly doubt this will happen, but I can hope)

I’d love a minion and a demi summon! Unfortunately though with how much the devs seem to hate Zodiark and couldn’t even bother giving him a positive codex entry i don’t see it happening :/ Just read it today and the fact not once is he ever even cited as being the one responsible for saving the planet and keeping it safe for 12k years is sad.

Yes. Though there's no consistency to it - we have multiple minions for certain characters who are still very much present in the ongoing story.
