Let's get back on topic everyone.
So how about those itty bitty patches with no shelf life that they are expecting to somehow last until summer 2024?

This is a longer than before drought before patch, but lets not pretend that Eureka and Bozja had people logging in everyday with excitement and wonder up until expansion launch. Even in StB and ShB there were a few months of pretty much dead time before launch. People had gotten everything they wanted out of those places and were just waiting for the next expansion. I know for myself there were certain a few months of dead time since I didn't run BA or DR savage for anything, and didn't really want to bother with collecting everything out of Bozja either. Yes that is content that I just didn't want to do, there is a lot of it here that people are also not wanting to do and ignoring.
ok but which is better? three days of content or 3 weeks of content? This is a longer than before drought before patch, but lets not pretend that Eureka and Bozja had people logging in everyday with excitement and wonder up until expansion launch. no one is asking for content to fill the ENTIRE patch.
the heck has this thread devolved into

An example of why communities go bad.
People make mistakes. They are asked to do better. They work on doing better.
Do they get acknowledged for doing better? Nah. Other people would rather continue to hold the past mistakes over their head.
Turns out there was no point in doing better.

"Yes, let me question an obviously mentally deranged person on the internet why they haven't game ended themselves if they truly believe in the pointlessness of their own life, that'll surely get them to rationally reflect on the insanity of their mindset."The TC said that Meteion was right and there was no point to living. The logical conclusion for anyone who truly believed that is that they would have already done what I said.
I asked why they hadn't done so already, to invoke the response that they didn't actually believe that.
The disingenuous take is that anyone would think I was actually telling someone to do that. But this is the internet, and this forum in particular, a cesspit of negativity and aggression.

I don't know - I mean, this is a bit of a grey area in my view. I recall that thread fairly well and whilst the OP expressed the opinion that life is pointless (hence the Meteion was right context) the OP was nonetheless future-focused and I don't think they directly expressed suicidal ideation per-se.
And, from experience, people who openly express thoughts of suicide are not usually (its certainly not exhaustive) the ones most likely to actually try. It's the ones who tell absolutely no-one, because you don't find out that they felt that way until it's too late![]()

Its still messed up to tell someone to off themselves when someone is suffering irl.The TC said that Meteion was right and there was no point to living. The logical conclusion for anyone who truly believed that is that they would have already done what I said.
