Let me put it into perspective then

In FFXIV, you run savage raids which is about 10-15 ilvl higher than the crafted gear when upgraded, which lets be honest is not the best incentive, but in any case it is how it is.

In WoW, you run mythic+ which is basically an upgraded dungeon, with affixes or variants if you prefer that term, increasing damage/hp (up to +380% for level 20 keys) on top of the variants, but also at the same time increasing the rewards

To put it into words and numbers, a normal dungeon would give you abysmal gear, a +2 would give you ilvl 402 gear, with a weekly reward of ilvl 415 gear, while a +20 would give you ilvl 431 gear, with a weekly reward of ilvl 447 gear.

You also have mythic raiding that rewards amazing ilvl gear, and also gives you different options weekly for loot, up to 3 ON TOP of the loot you have a chance to get from the bosses.

That is a good way to make content challenging, at the same time as it being easy to repeat because its fun to progress towards the end goal of getting at least weekly ilvl 447, and even once you are done, you can just keep doing it again for more loot options up to 3 options for m+.

That is how you put an incentive to repeating content, while making it fun.
