So yes, if you have been playing this game for 10 years then you will certainly be caught up on everything you want to do. I find it unreasonable to expect a developer to produce enough content that will keep people logging in everyday or even every week to do something for 10 or more years.

Meanwhile I've been playing WoW on the regular, all caught up and everything, and there is still enough to keep me entertained every week. Mainly because of mythic plus.

I've played WoW since vanilla and FF14 since ARR. What I REALLY want from FF14 is content that has actual longevity to it. Bozja from last expansion fit the bill decently well, but Endwalker is sorely lacking.

So the game and developers shouldnt take veterans like us into account? The game for every expansion, every patch release must always be centred around new players? Many new players don't have great attention spans for games like this and that should not be catered to, I am fine with people leaving the game and quitting.

The fact is there will come a point where you will have done everything you want to do and will be waiting for the next, and pretending like this is unique to XIV is just plain ignorant. What exactly is it you want though, new dungeons every week, currency you have to grind every day to be able to acquire gear, something new every month that has never been in game before? There just is no way to create content that takes longer to consume than to develop unless you create daily required grinds to progress.

Bro the content literally lasts 2 days, 2 days once every 6 months, stop excusing mediocrity. A week if you are very slow and at the most 2 weeks if you slow yourself down on purpose to slow content consumption.

Asking for more content =/ wanting something to do 24 7 for the entire patch, but a bit more than 2 days yes ?

Mythic+ system says hi, infinite rewards, weekly reward that scales with the level of the dungeon you did that week, that's an incentive to run content over and over again, they also had variants by the use of affixes to make the content fun (or unfun depending on the week) but at least its infinite content, same thing for raids. You can make repeating content fun by adding scaling rewards or anything of the sort, FFXIV has none of it.

FFXIV has an absolute bore of a dungeon system ,no scaling, no affixes, it's just a bland dungeon that you can speedrun through and pull the entire areas without any care at all and still survive without any issues, and the raids are.. well they are fun for a while but then theres nothing again.

No, I promise you, running Aglaia for the 1000th times or fishing for the 10000 fishes achievement is not fun, it really isnt, but its the only content there is so people do it anyway because they are bored to oblivion.

So you're saying that repeating content for currencies in other games is alright but not here? The dungeons here are a little on the bland side and I am not arguing they aren't, what I am saying is other games don't constantly release new content either, they get you to re run old content for a limited currency or reward. I am also going to say the forbidden words, if FFXIV content is suiting your needs, and there is a particularly long wait to next patch or expansion you want, then maybe consider playing a game that clearly is meeting your needs until you want to return. I know you expect XIV to cater to your every want but that is just not the case, a lot of players other than you and some here do enjoy things like fishing and crafting and gathering, which is much more robust here than other MMOs
