I haven't seen much hate towards xbox players here. Towards microsoft, yes. There's a whole thread on that. But nothing about its players beyond preemptive comments claiming they'll be treated as the new "wow refugee" in ad hominem arguments.

considering you started the other topic about this, why did you need to make a new one? I dont use twitter or reddit, but the only thread here which may have "vitriol" (I dont know, didnt care so never read it) is teh other one you started on this.

any particular reason you need two threads on this? or the other one didnt stir up enough drama?

Its funny when people say ff14 has the nicest community but if you dare say anything negative or something you dont like about the game or it gets released on a console people dont like because its from Microsoft and there apparently so evil suddenly its the apocalypse and ff14 is going to be taken over by Microsoft or bought out. If Microsoft is so hated then might as well drop windows support and play on linux/mac/playstation.

Quite correct. Many here on the forums will harass, insult, and bully you if you so much as say that FF14 is not quite perfect. On Reddit, they are even coordinating mass harassment campaigns against players who complained about FanFest's logistical failures.

Let's be open and honest about this issue and say it as it is: the FF14 simps are nothing more than a group of witch hunters, reenacting the Salem trials, this time against those who dare to criticize their religion (CBU3).
