Lottery Bug?

My partner is unable to put tickets down on an FC plot. They are receiving the following message.

Lottery entry and plot purchases unavailable. No more land may be purchased on this world by characters attached to this service account.

They have One personal house
They have been in our friend's FC for 34 days now
They have not bid on any plots on their account this lottery cycle
They are not an FC owner on any characters

Bug, or have the devs screwed something up? She was able to bid on the plot we won in Mist back in May without issue.

Sounds like your partner has been flagged. Could the purchaser of the current FC still be in the FC? Are they trying to relocate? I ask because if the original purchaser is still in that FC, only they may relocate.

She won our original FC house back in March last year. She was able to bid in May on our FC plot but another member won it. She had no issue relocating her personal house several months ago.

We're trying to help a friend get an FC house, so my partner has 2 Alts in said FC that have been in the FC for over 30 days each.

My partner by all accounts meets all requirements and there shouldn't be any blockers, yet she's flagged as having an FC when she is not an FC leader and has never been an FC leader.

Doesn't matter if she's the FC leader or not, if her account won a house previously and that specific character is still a member, then she's flagged.

I can confirm that yeah, it is stupid, as Paal said, once you claim, you claim for the entire world on that account, you cant claim anymore

Definitely not a bug:

You do not have a character on the same World on the same service account that purchased and maintains a free company plot
* If the character in question purchased the plot, they may still submit a lottery entry for the purposes of relocation.

Though I am genuinely surprised everyone in this thread suddenly understands this restriction. More so at the caginess around the loophole given how this is most likely a genuine rare edge case for its existence. Rather than say, simply render a ward a ghost town for selfish purposes.

It's a stupid restriction since it doesn't stop me from buying FCs on an alt account and transferring them to my main account lol... all it's done is stop a member of my FC from bidding on an FC plot on an alt character.

But you really make me want to fill my account up with alt FCs now just so that i can take over a ward and annoy you even more

This thread is quite literally about the restriction in place for plot purchasing. I know you've done nothing but gaslight the discussion but this is a bit ridiculous.

But you really make me want to fill my account up with alt FCs now just so that i can take over a ward and annoy you even more
