They're going to be bad people regardless of what name they have , them keeping the same name won't change that ><, that being said I do understand where you're coming from, it'll just take a bit to figure out who they are again

Why do you think everyone wants to keep their character's name if they're changing gender/race or if the look they want is not fitting of their character's name? Actually, why are you against giving people more features?

LOL actually a fellow LS member during beta made sure that wouldn't happen at one point I think he did the same on this one too

I may or may not want to change to male Miqo'te once 2.0 (or whenever male miqo'tes come out) comes around. That being said, I chose the name I have specifically to suit the race and gender of a male elezen. It wouldn't (by any means) be a terrible name for a male miqo'te, but it would not have been the name I chose if I had the option of starting as a male miqo'te in the first place.

they should let us essentially recreate our character, birthday starting area and everything but let us keep what we have done right now

that the point XD in 2.0 you keep everything you just have to rebuild your char because the new engine have diff lighting and shadowing so you may not like how your char look like. So this give you a chance to change your char or change race/sex
