Thread: Geez the length between 6.5 and 7.0 is going to be really extended

Lord forgive me but I really want some kind of catastrophic event so auto demo can be halted again a so I can unsub for a few months. That or devs can grow a heart. Whichever one.

Content draught between the 2 will be long aye, but it gives me time to level me jobs, quests and anything else and if not in the mood, have alot of other games I can play in the meantime.

thinking positively all the time leads people to ignore issues and complaints.

people aren't critical because they dislike ff14, they are critical because they're passionate about how much better the game could be, which in itself is a positive thing. While saying "just be positive bro" comes across as blindly supporting something and not wanting it to be better

What positive exactly? That we are gonna have to wait a year only to get more of the same? Give me a break.

That actually wouldn't be a bad idea. September/Octoberish could be the next next big patch. January/February. ish could be 6.6. April/May/ish could be 6.7.

Though I doubt we will we will get three major patches when Endwalker is done. What would they add? I could see three major side content patches of things that aren't story related. Though we will certainly get a "prelude" to the expansion. Every expansion has a transition patch between the two, usually with a part 1, and a part 2. I think these part 1s and 2s could be the thing that pads out before then. As well as the FFXIV events like the Fall Guys content.

Would be cool if they added a new Island Sanctuary update (housing?), and other big side content things people have asked for while we wait for so long. Hell, even a new mail moogle quest series would be an adorable way to bridge things over. Things that are underlooked would be a cool way to give us something to do while we wait.
