I was in utter disbelief at that trailer. The god forsaken scions are still there, and the whole thing just gives a vibe of a anime beach filler arc. No villain, nothing of substance at all, even the music was terrible.

Dawntrail feels like a bit of a loveletter to Final Fantasy XI in certain ways, and i hope they lean more into that with this expansion.

Forming no opinions about Dawntrail whatsoever. Insufficient data. It’s a mistake of the first order to jump to conclusions without an abundance of proof. Could turn out to be epic. Stop trying to predict the wind’s unknowable destination and just ride with it.
