IIRC the Forspoken filing was filed through JP in Japanese and English. From the quick digging I did, it seems SE usually files through JP first and then files in other regions later. For example, the NA filing for Forspoken happened a whole 4 months after the JP filing.
I have serious doubts that any company has any ability to request to hide/remove trademarks so quickly, considering the amount of bureaucracy you'd have to jump through to file a trademark to begin with (pretty sure the officials managing the filing of trademarks wouldn't entertain the idea of hiding a public one just because people on the internet saw it before they were supposed to), and without any observers taking screencaps of it in order to later write news articles about it at that.
It's more plausible that a trademark might be hidden until it's made public for the first time, like what seemingly happened with Endwalker, and that's probably the exact thing that SE intends to do again here. If indeed things happened as people claimed, whoever manages the filing likely really fucked up big time and somehow made it public enough for a bot to briefly detect it. But the odds of that happening are... Well, I'm currently in camp 'the trademark never existed'. There'd be a bunch of clickbait articles by now if there was ever any evidence that this was anything more than 4chan hearsay.
Which twitter trademark scraping bot was this, anyway?
