People just don't have accurate memories.
Except he's not wrong about when considering he just returned Sunday from his 2 week vacation.

There is a bug. This is not the first time players have found their houses pending demolition despite more recent entry, or even having the house demolished.

Just because it hasn't affected you does not mean it does not exist. Before the first time i witnessed it happening to a friend a couple of years ago, I too was a doubter. I learned otherwise. Stormpeaks was a doubter during the last time the bug conversation came up as well and yet now it has happened to them.

Instead of dismissing it as PEBKAC, it's time for players to start collecting and submitting information so SE can investigate. Remember how for years a connection issue was being dismissed as problem on the player ends until enough players gathered and submitted information for SE to determine it was a problem on their end? The same needs to be done for this. The housing system is already enough of a mess.

Yet the demolition notice the OP got may have been due to the bug. We don't know the exact date the party was held but for the notice to be emailed, the game would have to think the OP had not been in their house since about June 19th (depends on the date of the email).

I know the OP has a history of making meritless complaints but part of this one rings true with problems that other players have also experienced.
