Yes, I have said that repeatedly. In fact there should be at least one more than the total jobs at all times. But since Blue Mage has 3 roles there should be at least 3 for that alone. I'm just saying the more the better.![]()

Let me help you bump this.
How about a complete redesign of the glamour plate system? Why are glamour plates even a thing still? There shouldn't be a limit imo.. it's so outdated.
Id like too see 40 plates.
1 per job (Both combat and DoH/DoL) plus a few extras.
Just tiring never having enough.
Plates is actually the good part of the system, it lets you change easily. The problem is the dresser and the limited number of plates, not the actual plate idea. Having less plates than the number of jobs is actually inexcusable.
I suspect that at heart, it is a design leftover from the console world, where it is not so easy to have arbitrarily long lists of stored data. Just like how a lot of games will give you a preset number of save slots to store your progress, instead of just letting you write as many save data files to disk as you like (until the underlying file system literally runs out of index nodes, anyway).
Yes yes yes 100x times yes. ID EVEN PAY if it's like a retainer server. My expectations are incredibly low. It shouldn't be something too hard for them to implement.
TBH I'd be happy if there's just a 1:1 ratio of at least the combat classes.
