They need to just rip the bandaid off and remake the glamour system. It's like they don't want to offend the dev who originally made it or something.

Redo the code so it performs better, increase the dresser capacity, let us place a dresser in our house, and redesign the UI to support more than 20 plates. This should've happened expansions ago.

FFXIV has many shortcomings but this is the biggest one I really can't let go or defend.

7.0 is around the corner, 2 more jobs coming. There will be 22 jobs and 11 professions - and yet we still have only 20 plates.

How difficult could it be to match that? Or make it 50 slots!

Glamour is endgame. Myself and others raid for fancy weapons and dyable gear. Myself and others grind duties and PVP to get specific set pieces. Myself and others grind gil to buy and use glamour.

There's 800 limit in the glamour dresser now and we can barely plate any of them.

This won't eliminate the issue, that you have only a limited number of slots to save a set. We still need a separate number of slots per job, not per character.

The answer is always money guys. You dont get more plates because they WANT you to use expensive dyes so you end up buying them from mogstation because you cant afford the in game gil. Glam is end game and they still dont update it, because its all about money.

The answer to all questions posted on this forum about why we dont have something is always money, profit whatever you want to call it. Housing, why would they change housing when the system keeps you subbed. Why would they spend the time doing viera hats when you guys stay subbed anyway. Why provide more content than what they can get away with without losing too many subs. Etc etc etc ...
