they implement something then abandons it i mean "cough" look at nation ranks they was in the game originally and all these years later the last bit still has never been added

Honestly, they should just have one glamour plate tied to each gearset with an easy way to copy from one to another in cases where you want the same look for multiple sets.

That would more or less future proof the issue for a very long time.

How about a complete redesign of the glamour plate system? Why are glamour plates even a thing still? There shouldn't be a limit imo.. it's so outdated.

Plates is actually the good part of the system, it lets you change easily. The problem is the dresser and the limited number of plates, not the actual plate idea. Having less plates than the number of jobs is actually inexcusable.

I suspect that at heart, it is a design leftover from the console world, where it is not so easy to have arbitrarily long lists of stored data. Just like how a lot of games will give you a preset number of save slots to store your progress, instead of just letting you write as many save data files to disk as you like (until the underlying file system literally runs out of index nodes, anyway).

Id like too see 40 plates.
1 per job (Both combat and DoH/DoL) plus a few extras.

Just tiring never having enough.
