Unclear Rules for the Hairstyle Design Contest 2023

The rules for the Hairstyle Design Contest 2023 state that "Entrants must create the image(s) using digital graphics software or by capturing a photo of the artwork using the template provided. (Required)" which I interpreted as meaning that use of one of the provided templates is required, but also state "1-3 images: front design (required), side design (required), and back design (required). When providing additional information, if it does not fit in the template, please attach additional images." The provided templates, however, only have a front and back view included. I'm unsure how to submit an entry that fulfills both of these conditions. Should I draw a side view not using the template, or is the template provided incorrect?

I think because the templates both have a front-quarter angle and a back-quarter angle, they both show the front + side and back + side respectively. （*´▽｀*）

Thank you for posting about this, I thought I might've been the only one misunderstanding. I'd love to participate and already have some ideas sketched out but, reading through the rules, I'm confused about the exact same point. I'm afraid to miss my chance at this contest by submitting entries that might not be within the guidelines. I also read through the french version of the contest's announcement and it's just as confusing. Would love to get some clarification on this.
