Should I have reported this?

Idk, I am not them and I am not in their head. I can really only go based off what was said.

What I think is kinda of moot cause my reasoning may not be the reason why they said. Getting impacted over how I perceive their comment without knowing their intent or reason seems weird no?

We all could debate whether or not someone should report or whether or not they should or should not find something offensive, but, depending on the GM, this could probably be considered a ToS violation.

In the ToS they even have clear examples of tone when responding to others in-game, with examples of violations and non-violations. Just outright saying someone's character is "hideous", while I was not able to find a similar or specific example, is very likely an offense simply by how it was said.

Additionally, a third party can find something offensive, report, and it should be considered a violation according to the ToS. There should even be examples, such as if there are 10 people, 9/10 of them can be fine with something, but if that last person isn't: it's a violation. It doesn't even matter if it is directed at them, if I recall.
