    The first big pull is rough but manageable.

    The second big pull before the first boss is rough and I don't recommend it. Many parties have wiped to it over the years. There is this big, hard-hitting giant and the mob packs after that also hit hard, so when you get to the third pack, it can be a disaster. I usually at least take out the big enemy first then just pull the two packs. Maybe the stat squish, food growth or Duty Support changes have affected it, but still.

    The mob packs between the first and second boss where you have magitek armors, dogs and soldiers attacking you while dodging giant cleaves is a big pull I never do. Every time I've ever done it, healers just couldn't handle it so I stopped doing it.

    The big pull between second and third boss. Always do it. They hit hard, but your CDs can handle it, their casts take time so the healer has plenty of time to heal and most of them die really fast.

    Although, I didn't really test the recent Stormblood dungeon changes properly except the ones I've got in roulettes so maybe they nerfed something.

    Yeah. it is that big pull where you have to dodge the cannons, and have a ton of twists and turns. With all the red things that appear on the floor in front of the cannons that paralyse you if you stay in them. Lots and lots of mobs. I can handle every wall to wall pull in that dungeon. That one was well beyond my capabilities, though.

    Don't get me wrong. I heal Mentor Roulette regularly now. When I get this dungeon, there are tanks who pull it all, and I do keep them alive. But I play SCH so I can't say about WHM.

    I was just saying that all the healers I'd get in Stormblood couldn't handle it so I stopped.

    Were they stopping behind each individual section to allow DPS to drop something quickly, before moving on? I can't find any videos on YouTube about it. I looked, and everybody seemed to be doing it in two pulls or, at the very least, pausing once every so often to get a DPS AOE in there or, as somebody said, a Holy.

    1. I pre-shield them before they pull any mobs at all. This protects them from some initial autos while running.
    2. I always have Excogitation (strongest heal) ready to use on the tank when they stop moving, because I know their health may dip a huge amount when they stop.
    3. Then I apply all my stuff depending on what they need. Whispering Dawn (area regen), Fey Illumination (mitigation/buff fairie heal potency), Lustrate (heal) ready for when they need it. Maybe Sacred Soil but it's just mitigation until Shadowbringers, and tanks have that covered already so I prefer to use Lustrate unless they are bad at mitigation. Adlo if absolutely necessary, depends how good the tank is.
    4. Delay some of these things if the tank is handling it themselves ie. warrior using their heal, invulns and so on.
    So I don't really play White Mage and only ever played it in any expansion to level it, and in ARR I just played it to unlock Paladin. But if we were to compare things...

    Benediction instead of Excogitation
    Asylum instead of Whispering Dawn
    Divine Benison instead of Fey Illumination
    Tetragrammaton, Assize or Afflatus Solace instead of Lustrate

    ...and that's not even considering that you have

    Holy
    Regen
    Medica II regen

    Even not counting GCDs, WHM has a lot of advantages over my healer of choice. If their health dips due to lack of mitigation, have Divine Benison ready or use Holy and use your dozens of heals on them that I don't even have myself on a Scholar.

    Sometimes you will get an undergeared tank that doesn't know what CDs are. And almost no tank will use level 90 food like I would for Vitality. That might make it harder, and sometimes that's just how it is. But you have a lot of kit there that looks better than the breadcrumbs Scholar has at that level.

    You can recitation and Adloquium, then whispering dawn and let the fairy GCD heal as you Art of War the mobs from one wall to the other. That's what I think would happen but I'm not 100% on it since I've not done that dungeon in some time.

    You can't Recitation because you don't have that in Doma Castle.

    AH damn. Same tactic but a normal one to start off with everything. Once stopped depending on if I need Benediction level healing I would Emergency Tactics, Swiftcast Adlo, weave a lustrate, hardcast Aldo to give me some breathing room and if things are going solid I would barrier up and art of war. Maybe. Like I said...it's been ages since I've done this.
