Definitely makes me raise an eyebrow every time there's communication from the devs and the multi billion dollar company can't pay for a live translated restream or subtitles. NA has to rely on randoms from reddit, who are subject to mistranslation, for all of their information.

That's honestly the more damning thing is they can't be bothered at SE to properly communicate with their NA players so why would they ever pay attention to their feedback.

they did have ENG translators, but JP players complained the live letter takes 8 hours because there's always break for translator to translate everything into engrish, sentence by sentence.
I believe The un-translated live letter is result of community demand.

I agree that there could be subtitles but having double the time of LL, the complaint was absolutely justified and while this is not the best solution, it's the most convenient one, compared effort/price and result. Thanks fellow redditors for translation.
