Let's get rid of outdoor pillars in the Mist and the Goblet, please!

I love my Mist plot but I hate that I can't put 95% of the items in the corner because of this thing. Goblet plots have the same issue. These pillars should end under the grassy part.

Which furnishings are you unable to place?

I can't recall having problems getting items placed with their edges flush against the fence since their anchor points won't intersect the "concrete base" or whatever it should be called. It could be a problem with smaller items I haven't tried but in those case I would think placing the item from storage instead of inventory would work.

I agree that it makes no sense for the object to be visible and it would be nice for it to be removed. I have a feeling it's there because of some of the fence styles that do have larger pillars in the corners.

I can put the Wooden Deck in the corner and I can glitch some planters with the storage trick... But there's the new Stone Toro Lantern which I really wanted in the corner, I can't put it there at all. It only covers like 1/3 of the white square if I place it from the storage. Or the Lemonade Stand. Or my striking dummy... And so on. So yeah, mostly smaller items.

My house is also in Mist. If I remember when I log in tomorrow, I'll try playing with some smaller outdoor furnishings and see if I also have problems getting smaller items placed there.

edit: I was distracted by real life yesterday but I just played with both the Stone Toro Lantern (why does it not light up at night) and the Lemonade Stand. I had no problem placing either in the corner. The Lemonade Stand doesn't quite cover all the concrete base but the Stone Toro Lantern does.

For the storage glitch in this case, it won't go directly onto the concrete base out of storage but you can move it there before you confirm placement.
