Mac Launcher crashes after Login immediately following "Checking Final Fantasy XIV"

I have been playing the free trial on my M1 MacBook for almost 2 months, and today, I upgraded from the free trial, buying from the SqEnix website/MogStation. Upon completing payment, I was taken to a download page. I reinstalled the app, as prompted, and now after logging in, the launcher attempts "Checking Final Fantasy XIV" for about half a second and then the launcher crashes.

I have followed all the directions on the support page... updating my version of MacOS, safe boot, no antivirus software, uninstall/reinstall... none of this has any affect.

    Operating system: MacOS Ventura 13.4.1
    Launcher version 2023.04.28.0000.0001(8849901)
Are you using a VPN? No
Are you using a wired or wireless connection?wireless
What Platform are you using? (Steam/Windows/Mac/PS4 etc.)Mac
Does the issue occur with one character or multiple characters? n/a - I cannot login
At what point do you get disconnected? after login credentials are accepted, and the launcher begins checking Final Fantasy XIV
How often does the issue occur? Every single time I try to log in.

    Internet Service Provider: Comcast
All steps taken to resolve the issue: 1) I have updated my MacOS to the latest version. 2) I deleted the application and reinstalled about 4 different times. 3) Closed background applications 4) Restarted the PC in safe mode.

You may want to try the XIV Launcher: https://www.xivmac.com

This has worked for me in the past when the official launcher stops working.
