Variant dungeons are actually boring

Its an interesting idea but they're too full of padding with their alternate routes.

Doing the exact same path and selecting between two extremely similar options shouldn't be a new path.

The latest one has a scenario where you either push down a tree or a rock to make a bridge to go over a gap, nothing else changes about it.

Yeah when I first heard about variant dungeons I thought it would be like a maze like dungeon with lots of different paths and lots of different bosses - of course just recycled old ones like in the deep dungeons, but still better than always the same first boss :x

Instead we got 3 paths and some puzzles.

I wish we could disregard your post and you and your alts for that matter but alas we have to keep enduring you being about because you have nothing better to do. Do you not get remotely tired keeping up this facade? You know you make some small decent points here and there but in the end I can't take them seriously due to how you act everywhere else...makes a point, sometimes gets debunked but cherry picks quotes or alters them and moves the goalposts.

I've made full review of gameplay yesterday, where I said essentially same stuff as he did, but more detailed and explained, if you have problem with TitanMen.

Is it just me or is it actually... pretty darn easy to tell when a Gaius-of-a-thousand-faces post is purely trolling or not?

He doesn't exactly hide his shifts in tone/attitude, and what few true bait/trap threads he(? honestly, those ones were harder to tell) started were pretty clearly so.

Or, more simply put, you can go into damn near any of these Skiros/Gaius/etc. threads that'd seem remotely serious and, sure enough, simply read the topic as/for what it is, rather than as some elaborate scheme to twist player opinion. If it's written sarcastically or with the sole intent to inflame, the OP will make that obvious very quickly.

Sure he may have some trollish topics but I don’t see anything wrong with discussing this feature. He finds them boring. At least he did them. I can’t even find a reason to spend time on these after the less than glowing reviews and reward lists I’ve seen.

But that would require engaging with critiques about CBU3's design decisions. There's a solid section of forumgoers who are absolutely convinced that any criticism is "trolling", which is much easier to dismiss. It's less work than taking the position of actively cheerleading the stupidification of the combat system, which is what they do when they're not accusing everyone of being a Gaius alt. :eyeroll:

He will never disappear as long as people give him attention. You know what? I'm literally crazy to think people will ever learn. Why do I bother warning you people? I got better things to do with my time. I'm not doing this anymore. I have way more fun threads to waste my post limit on.

Eh, I for one enjoy them. Sure, they are not perfect and things like reward structure need to change I say, but I hope its somthing thyey can improve in time. Nice to have some solo aimed content outside of just quests at least.

Depends if I got all the minions and TT cards out of it. So as many times as I need for that.

But IS was already made for that. And dungeons. And roulettes. And relics. And MSQ. And anything below EX for that matter.

IS has no combat. And sure it's similar to other dungeons in terms of combat but what's wrong with enjoying a new dungeon?
