Unable to log in to prevent house demolition due to real world issues

While they don't need to have the housing demolition thing, we're probably a bit too late in the game to get a complete and total overhaul. Not to mention they would have to worry about angering those that like the ward system over full instanced housing. (It's weird I know but there are some people). The cost of such an overhaul is likely too much for big daddy Corporate SE to approve CBU3 to do.

That all said, I am hoping that what they are trying with the glamour thing on the islands for exterior furnishings is a testing ground to apply something like that to housing.

I am part of those with ward houses, and they should just slap instanced housing on the island and remove auto demo at this point or at least make it 6 months or so instead of 45 days.

I don't agree. We are supposed to have had some 10 year plan, as far as I am aware. Plenty of games have lasted for a fraction of that amount of time. Housing needs changing.

I didn't have a large or medium, so mine just wasn't worth the cost. And again, if I was to actively play, where I am at, I can just grab another small whenever I want.

With the lengthy period in-between patches, it is very difficult to justify the cost or naturally be subbed during this period. Unfortunately, it does benefit SE to not update the system. The short period for an auto-demo is definitely suspect..
