Thread: Front and Back titles for 2.0

I know there is going to be titles in 2.0 but i was wondering are they going to be just 1 title? or will you be able to put both a front title and a back title (sorry I don't know the formal name to that).

Say i have the front title

Divine Crusher

now my name

Neorei Dawnbreaker

and say i got the relic lance

of the Vengeful Lance

my full name and with titles would be

Divine Crusher Neorei Dawnbreaker of the Vengeful Lance

lol actually that would be to crazy, how does the community think of this?

personally i think that would be kinda overkill, imagine everyone running around with a wall of text over their heads (as seen in other MMOs) ^~^

Yeah, it's often overkill (i.e. in Rift it can be as long as "Death Mistress Antipika, Mistress of Madness", now make this with my XIV name, would be even longer...)

If we have a feature to disable title locally however, why not.

Although I'm against the mass amount of names like you suggested, I would actually like to see visible titles as an option in 2.0. I like to read people's titles but as of right now, it is a bit of an effort to see them. What's the point of a title of no one will see them (as they are pretty hard to find)

visible titles will be in 2.0, they will either be before or after your name depending on the title, OP meant to equip 2 of those titles to have one before and one after your name.
I think showing one is pretty nice and plenty

@ is the Free Company, and iirc YoshiP said that titles would be displayed in English only.
