It turns out Eureka Orthos has a lot of interesting lore

I think a big strength of lore and story in this game is that it's usually really accessible; Extremes and Savages all being explicitly non-canon mean that it's very rare that there's lore with difficulty in front of it.

But sometimes there is! And I think that's why I haven't seen anybody at all talk about Eureka Orthos' lore, even to the point where its lore isn't even documented anywhere on the internet that I could find outside of the game itself. Which is a shame, because this stuff is NUTS.

So I did it myself! I finished Eureka Orthos, and transcribed every single loredump you can get on the bosses. If you're inclined towards visuals, I made a video talking about it all:

I usually don't post my videos here anymore, but I felt like I'd make an exception here, since I feel like this subforum would love all the implications of this lore, and doesn't have many other ways to learn about it.

Thanks for this! I'm still meaning to reach the final floor and experience it all properly for myself but it was a real shame that noone had properly documented it.

A lot of people do! It takes a lot of time, asks for skills that don't really come up elsewhere like aggro evasion, and at least Eureka Orthos has some bosses that mean serious business.
