Log in, afk in front of the fc house and log out again

How many of you can relate to the title? Because that's what most of my time in this game is currently looking like. A new patch drops, so i get excited!... Only to fall back into the same old position right in front of the fc house 30 minutes later after i ran out of stuff to do til the next raid night. A cool shiny sword but nothing to use it on that i bought with an already capped currency, (Not that it's worth using as the tome weapon is better anyways) and a new dungeon that i completed in 10 minutes. That's the patch.

This game is lacking in character progression and meaningful content besides savage and weekly tomes. There's just so little of substance to do on the side besides social interactions - which i don't think warrants a monthly subscription as i can do this for free on other platforms. I *want* to have stuff to dig my teeth into - a reason to log back in for inbetween raid nights. But there's just nothing to do. Frankly, i'm starting to consider going back to WoW..

I don't mean this in a condescending way, but it's not really my (or anyone else outside of SE) job to try and "sell" the game to you. If you don't feel it's worth your sub, take a break and absolutely DO try other games. IF you find that break getting longer and longer...consider unsubbing.

Rather, I'd say it's unhealthy to expect this game to provide your entire gaming wants/needs. You should be checking out WoW/Diablo/Whatever might seem appealing.


I'm 50/50, but leaning towards playing 7.0 when it releases, and unsub about a month or two into it. Right before 8.0 releases I'll resub and do all the 7.x content.

In the meantime, I've been away from Guildwars for a while! They're releasing a new expansion pack, and I haven't done the LAST expansion they released! Gonna jump on that when they offer a big discount.
I'm also looking forward to Starfield...but I'll probably wait like 6 months into its release...after all it's guaranteed to be a Bethesda-Bug-Ridden mess.
