The problem is we aren't seeing their retention or player metrics...we just see this smaller vocal minority (from the total playerbase) have their say...until after 7.0 and we see a bigger decline I'm hard pressed to see if CBU3 is actually concerned with anything. The issues are imbedded into their restrictive scheduling, combat 2 minute meta and anything extensive would be reserved for an expansion launch. Content is planned out well in advance but those resources are carefully lined out...they can't flip a switch take resources away from something and knuckle down on one thing..the downside is you get 2 things that are mediocre rather then 1s really good and 1s rubbish.

I know someone here uses steamcharts and I get it can indicate a trend however I can't take mass unpredicted wow exodus joining and leaving into the growth metrics of the game. It was totally unplanned growth and it made sense a lot left for a multitude of reasons. The game is in a healthy stable state...that if this is the lul...its going to be 2 expansions or so down the line before we hit a point of all hands on deck we need to fix this situation. They really need to make up a big survey that they send out to every registered player to partake in and publish the results to get a broader impact of the problems or concerns of the community but I feel they don't need to do that because its not in as bad a state as some are to be believed (for better or worse)

Again I already said with the poster above you, 2.0 happened because SE actually cared about their property. It seems silly to believe that they just go "lol oh well"
Definitely not something he would do, he's shown he can turn a dumpster fire back from the grave and I think he could easily do it again if the situation occurred.
