Yes also agree with Storm on that. Though most of my posts are positive, this game has a ton of misses for me on content. I just don't do any of it and don't care enough to talk about how much I dislike it.

Same, but opposite. A lot of my posts are negative. I still enjoy spending time with my friends in this game, but job design is a thing that touches the vast majority of content in this game. Its downward spiral is something I've been opposed to ever since I first smelled it in Stormblood, and it's only become worse ever since.

I'd be a lot more positive if this game just had throwaway branch content I could ignore if I had no interest in it (it does). When the trunk of the tree has rotted, I'm going to tell Square to cut it out. Boring, awful job design taints so much.

I am not someone to rush content in any game. I've been playing since I hit my endpoint with WoW mid BFA. That said no game is my only game. I play several games and skip between them sometimes going weeks with a game then switching back. Sometimes playing mutiple games in a day. End result I am now finally midway through Shadowbringer for the first time. FFXIV list of things to do is still very long.

I am not going anywhere for a very long time.

I dont understand why Criterion Savage having no reward is a "bad thing", this instance is very very hard (even the normal criterion is harder than most of savages) and so its basically made for people who seek challenges

Really? You don't understand why hard content needs good rewards?

Okay, what happens when people who seek a challenge get their one clear of it and see there's nothing to reward them for their trouble? They stop doing it. The content becomes dead content.

I'm pretty much the opposite of this. A lot of my posts are negative (there are positive ones), but there are still things I like in this game. I just don't feel the need or desire to post about those as often. I don't really like the notion that some people seem to want to push where there is some requirement for you to balance out your positive/negative posts with the other kind.

Yeah, when I have criticized aspects of the game, it is because I want(ed) to see the game do better. I will praise a feature, or defend something if I think it is good or receiving undue criticism, but I think it's very reductive if I was to just blindly defend things. Even while defending an aspect of the game, you can acknowledge that there are issues with whatever it is. This has gotten me in some hot water on occasion, with people - apparently - thinking I am on one "side" or another.

I do want to see change for the better, or better quality in general!

Not gonna happen for me but i have been on a 1 month sub 1 month unsub routine for more than a year now.

Current content pace give me 1 to 2 weeks of enjoyable content every 4 month, that's just not enough.

I think that positive feedback can be just as valuable as constructive criticism. Feedback on them doing a good job, to continue doing it, etc. How much you enjoyed a certain feature, etc. I do believe it is still relevant.
