I'm holding out for 7.0. That will either renew my interest or kill it forever.

When you deal with human beings, never count on logic or consistency.
Fluid like water. Smooth like silk. Pepperoni like pizza.
Basically my situation as well. As much as I love many aspects of the game, like the story and character visuals - I don't think I'll be sticking around if 7.0 is not innovative at the slightest. Not because I dislike the general PVE formula (other than the 2min meta that I detest), but because I've been playing for quite a while now and I can't possibly stomach more of the same once again.
If that happens, I'll probably just subscribe during the expansion release, and then again at patch 7.55, so I can see the MSQ without patch cliffhangers. And the reason why I'm holding hope for 7.0, is that symbolically represents a 'new beginning', and that might be loaded with a context outside of story as well - but I suppose we'll see more of this around the second or last Fanfest.
Veteran healers don't care if we need to heal, but right now we don't. We want interesting things to do during the downtime other than a 30s dot and a single filler spell that hasn't changed from lvl 4 to lvl 90.
Dead DPS do no DPS. Raised DPS do 25/50% lower DPS. Do the mechanics and don't stand in bad stuff.
Other games expect basic competence, FFXIV is pleasantly surprised by it. Other games have toxic elitism. FFXIV has toxic casualism.[/LIST]
