    The housing glitches are kind of dev sanctioned. They had an update that broke (fixed) them and actually reverted it to restore the glitches.

    They care more about those who are still building in the void than those not who are not. Yet still need to rely on floating glitches. Heck most floating glitches wouldn't even be needed if they gave us the use of the Z axis. This however is just dumb. It's a clear ToS breaker. Do I think a perma ban should be given? Not really. Would it be nice if some form of punishment happened? Yes, but I don't have enough faith that anything bad will happen to the person who turned it in for the contest.
