They care more about those who are still building in the void than those not who are not. Yet still need to rely on floating glitches. Heck most floating glitches wouldn't even be needed if they gave us the use of the Z axis. This however is just dumb. It's a clear ToS breaker. Do I think a perma ban should be given? Not really. Would it be nice if some form of punishment happened? Yes, but I don't have enough faith that anything bad will happen to the person who turned it in for the contest.
Mods are saved client side, so only the person taking the screenshots would be implicated in most cases, because it would have to be their mods. I've heard tell of a program that lets you see what other people have modded as long as you both have this program installed. But it would be very difficult to tell from one screenshot if that were being used.Since it is a screen shot, the one taking it simply has to have the assets installed correct? So does that mean not only did they out themselves but potentially their friends also? GG good friend BTW.
I do not take screen shots so not sure if they names show up on SE's side.
Well, it's gone now. They skip right over 23. (*≧▽≦)ノシ))
I wonder if they removed more because Illustrated Work and Unaltered Screenshots both have 50 each, while Altered Screenshots and Physical art both have 38 (now minus 1) and 47 respectfully. (●´ω`●)ゞ ~?
THe bulbasaur shirt is probably what caused it to get removed because even SE doesn't want to deal with Nintendo's crap when it comes to copyright protections.Someone put leaked XIV glams obtained early using 3rd party software on an IRL billboard with the XIV logo attached and nothing happened. A few weeks later, an XIV producer streamed himself going to player houses and saw a bunch of obviously glitched houses that had plausible deniability that you'd have to be willfully ignorant to believe, and he called the homes really nice and praised them. Some time ago, the Ultimates world first race was basically ruined by people using cheats and streaming themselves doing it, and the devs didn't even permaban them; they just told them to delete their prizes and revoked their world-first credentials. And now there's a screenshot contest with some modded shirts and you think now they're gonna start dumping permabans? I know you're thirsty for a modder reckoning day but god damn, talk about grasping at the bottom of the barrel lmao. I'd be surprised at this point if square even cared enough to remove them from the contest, unless they get pressured by a bunch of people who think the reason their photo lost was because of a bulbasaur t-shirt lol.
but lmao even harder at square not noticing
I'm sure they'll get around to banning them all right after they finish clearing out the lalafell underground, the undercut botters, and the 24/7 apartment crafters.
Sometime around 2042-ish?

Found the modder."a permanent ban from the game" is the most gigantic cope I have ever seen, at most they'll get a temp ban or a warning like those dudes who made the billboard
whoever made this tho, not the smartest thing to do really
I dont agree with what they did just to clarify, but it's a bit hilarious how far you go to demonize these people as if they have done the most unforgettable sin, it's literally just a shirt that is modded, if you think that's worth a perma ban, idk what to say
This has been reported many times. Been linked to SE on Twitter, talked about on Reddit.
SE does not seem to care at all. It's been almost 6 months. Seems they only care if someone is getting a reward out of something.
