Relics were never difficult content. They were something you spent time on. This game is very vertical, but at least you had 3 types of final "earned" weapons depending on your playstyle. Tomestone gear for people who don't like taking too much time grinding for something. Savage gear for players who like hard challenges that require practice and coordination. Relics for less hardcore players who just appreciate grinding in content that lasts throughout the patches.
But you want to take the self-absorbed entitled argument of "I don't like grinding so I want the content aimed at you to be aimed at me from now on, screw you" go ahead. Now you have 2 of those aimed at you.

I'm sure raiders would be super happy if they stopped awarding savage tier weapons through the raids and instead made them tradeable for currency you get doing casual roulettes instead.
