So my Brother and i were tossing ideas around for a possible new job in the game and he suggested Geomancer, so we shopped some idea around and here is what we came up with

Geomancer (GMC)
Weapons: Hammer+ Bell
Armor: Disciples of magic
mechanics: The Geomancer uses his bell to cast earth magic, probably called Geia or Terra, with Gravity for AoE, and when his MP is drained they go in with their hammers, infused with residual earth magic to batter foes to recharge the MP

The Gist is to have a Magic DPS that isn't just " Black mage, but with a sword!"
Some factors we considered
. Earth Magic is Slow, so a haste-like ability/spell to hasten cast times would be good
. one of their hammer abilities would be fissure, which instead of insta-kill like in past games of the franchise, just sunders enemy defenses, ya know, because they did just get battered by an earthquake cause by a hammer
. I suggest the Geomancer's earth magic be called Terra, which would allow for the old school Geia to shine by altering the spell animations based on location ( with the standard being raw stone and ore waylaying a foe)
. My Brother suggests Gravity because the earth, has its own gravity( its logical but I dont know if it fits in a lore standpoint) and as such
