    I don't buy that at all. There have been many times where it would make sense for narrative reasons, but they make all the scions get busy so you can't do it with them. Let's take Innocence. The scions conveniently get busy holding off Sin Eaters so that you have to do it with players. Or let's take Endsinger, where the scions conveniently get blown away and teleported onto the ship so that you have to do it with players. It would make more sense for those things not to have happened, and SE will most likely change it when adding trial support.

    It was a test, yes, but they never said it was too tricky. Just tricky. Their focus is making the MSQ dungeons have duty support. As this will be complete by 7.0, you can expect them to announce MSQ trials will get duty support in 7.x patches.

    How can I be so confident in this? Because SE want to make it so you can play the game "alone or with friends." This is their 10-year goal, so it's almost certain they will announce this at the fan fest later this month, or just do it anyway.

    Imo, it works a lot better with both Endsinger and Zodiark narratively, because of themes and story. Rest of times before and after, yeah, there's no real reason. I can see them doing more trials with trusts in future, but also I doubt they will stop using a suddenly-very-convinient 'why are we 8-man here' tool that is Azem's crystal entirely.

    Ah I see! Thanks for the clarification. We shall see if its somthing that does get implamented, you seem to have more convidance in that then me haha.

    I will say, one trial I think needs to be changed/made solo is Coils. I can understand if they want to keep most raids/trials and stuff duty-bound, but the way that fantastic/rather important story is more or less locked outside of soloing it at high levels or rarely seen PF groups is a right tragedy.

    I am sure this is on their mind about as much as Castrum Meridianum and Praetorium were (these used to be on their mind for many, many years but they never changed them because their focus is always new content).

    Now their focus is on revamping old content as well, but I think their priority is content that is required for the MSQ.

    Although it's possible they could do it sometime in 7.x, they will have more free resources in 8.0 when all the required content has Duty Support. It's possible they will use those resources on side content, such as making a story version of the coil raids and merging all the current ones into the (Savage) category.
