Possible new QoL addition to game?

First off, I apologize if this is the incorrect forum section to post this but I was looking at them and didn't know which else to post this suggestion to.

Would it be possible to add FC storage to the item search results? The window that shows which of your own bags, or retainers' bags and item you searched for might reside. Now I'm not sure if this has ever been suggested before, and with over a decade of forum activity it might be easier to ask about it over searching for it. I do know that the FC storage has to "think," or maybe search for what's in each tab before showing it, but in the search results window it would show the red X until all the tabs have been looked through at least once per session. Again, I'm not sure if anyone has ever suggested this in the past but it could be a good quality of life update in the future. I'm not sure how it might work out when on non-home servers but maybe show that the item does exist in your FC storage but, if it isn't already implemented, deny access to the company chest when on a non-home server.

Considering that Mr Yoshida said "impossible" for multiple stuff they added some months/years later, i see no problem. I would love to have more freedom in-game too...why i can't send /tell when i am inside an instance? why i can't click anyone around me while i am fishing?

But once you put it in FC storage, it's not "yours" anymore. How is the game supposed to know what is yours in there? /isearch only shows what's "yours".

I always assumed the Search Item function doesn't actually ask antything to the server, but worked on cached data from the client. This is hinted at by the red question marks that says "Result may not reflect current inventory status. Open again for latest results.".
So I don't see any technical obstruction to displaying results from a non-home server.

Does ownership really matter ? So long as the resource is accessible, it's enough for me to justify including it in the search results.

Pretty much. It's not actually opening your retainers, glamour dresser, etc when you do an isearch. It's reading a list of what was there last time you looked, which in the case of your own personal inventory won't have changed. That's not true of the FC chest. They could probably add the FC chest to isearch fairly easily if they wanted to, but since it's public access there's no guarantee your search will be accurate, or even if you have permission to access the items there in the first place.

Of all the locations listed in the isearch results, none can change without you looking at it. Yet, SE saw fit to implement this red question mark I mentionned earlier, and branding most isearch results as inherently innacurate.
I think there's actually a way your personal inventory could change without the cache being updated; that would be if you log into your character from a different client, on a different device. This might be an edge case, but this is apparently reason enough to justify those innacuracy warnings. Since the warning feature is there, we might as well use it for cases that are more relevant to most people.
If you think of isearch more as the question "Where did I last see this item?", then I find it not so bothering to get an approximate answer; especially if it's about the FC chest.

As for whether you have permission to access the items, that's something the client knows upon opening the individual sections of the FC chest; it's no different from knowing whether the item is even there.

Can actually confirm, search results can be wildly inaccurate on different devices. I hadn't played much on my laptop since building PC, but just recently happened to be on and noticed my crafting Favorites were all old things I'd already completed (favorites are evidently also a client-side thing.. makes sense, I suppose, for data purposes). In running searches to confirm I'd already made the things, I had to go around and open all the inventories/retainers again for the search to know where to find them.
