Yeah, almost every NPC has a secret trick that we don't have access to. Nero use some crazy skills on the last boss of Role Quest. Fourchenault has a beautiful group mitigation as Sage.

The idea is that the mentioned characters went through an Evolution, and showcased the New Jobs.
I think to a Degree Thancred also did Rouge / Ninja.

That would be what I'm pointing out... You stated that Krile is the only scion that hasn't had a job change and that's clearly not true.

Right, thats what I was trying to say, he BECAME a Rogue / Ninja. Might have failed to make that clear lol.

I like to joke about that because she was under a false name and was only there because of Papolymo.

Could see a new healer, if we are getting 2 new jobs, theyll likely not do 2 dps for a variety of issues, so itll be dps n healer or dps n tank.

At first, I thought yes. I was thinking she'd be one of the new Jobs, probably a Caster...but then it got me thinking, Krile's always been a Healer, something that a point is even made of when talking about her and combat situations. And I can't imagine them adding a new Healer right after SGE and also with the AST rework "like a new Job" type thing possibly going on as well.

...so now I'm not so sure.

Will Krile be a new Job in 7.0? If so, wouldn't it be a bit odd for her to be something that ISN'T a Healer? And if so...wouldn't that imply she WON'T be a new Job?

...or maybe she'll finally find a WHM Job stone somewhere and stop being a CNJ?

Wasn't Y'shtola shown originally as a healer/conjurer? Now she's a sorcerer (who you can switch between sorcerer dps and conjurer healer for trusts). I don't think it's a stretch for Krile to go from "I've barely had my healing abilities shown at all" to a new job.

Stormblood was two dps.

One of the most common theories is it'll be magical dps and another scouting dps.

Didn't they already say they wouldn't do another double dps expansion but always have a tank/healer in the mix?

In any case that would be the smart thing to do. You don't want to shift the balance even further when the roles that make up half of the team only have 8/19 jobs currently. Having tank/dps followed by healer/dps each expansion would be sustainable.

Probably would be smarter sure, but I don't know if Square is capable of that at this point. Apparently they're already at a block for how to make more healers... honestly we'll probably just get one job per expansion now.
