Would you like another Bard song?

Bard feels like a complete job for me, and I have absolutelly no clue of what they would add in 7.0. It's already complicated enough for having every single job mechanic of the game, and adding more stuff would only make it worse, however we can still make it interesing by changing the rotation a little bit. What if every song only lasts 30s, but has 100% chance to grant Repertoire (guaranteeing one every 3 seconds)? And then the fourth song has something to do with dots or procs, who knows. What do you guys think?

I want Bard to stop hogging two different jobs and be split into an instrument wielding support job and a bow wielding ranger-type job. I know this will never happen though and I have to live with the fact I'll never have an actual bow archetype in the game.

Oh as in a buff. I was thinking as in Performance. I was like "They need to fix guitar". It's not good.

I'd like them to rework the drums in performance mode so they don't sound like shit.

I think the job plays brilliantly right now and doesn't need much of a change. Maybe some potency buff but as a support class, I aint gonna hold my breath on that.

The next capstone skill will be something akin to Barrel Stabilizer. It will add 50 to their song gauge.

The problem SE faces with every expansion is that their aim is to make every job "complete" by the level cap. Then they have to find a way to improve upon it for the NEXT level cap. They usually do this by taking abilities away from the "complete job" and adding something else to make it complete... again. Essentially, every job is temporarily in a good state. The next expansion, it is like they aim to ruin the balance their was only to try to find it once more.

Always wanted an "Encore" skill for Brd. Something that completely resets song cd or something like that, so you can play a song back to back, but guess wouldnt work with Finale now that songs grant specific coda...

Essentially, every job is temporarily in a good state. The next expansion, it is like they aim to ruin the balance their was only to try to find it once more.

Then, once the job is thoroughly bloated with redundant skills and minor abilities you only press once every two minutes, SqE trims a button or two, and the forums explode with complaints that everything is being "dumbed down" (i.e. doesn't feel tedious to play).
