So does a thread lock auto ban you on first offense? If not since locked threads have reasoning pretty much always should be fine for new posters.

There was a thread in hot topics yesterday that was just one sentence and a picture of tera. Suffice to say everyone was ripping on it that is why the thread shot up. I would say the increase is in very visible obvious locks.

Also lets come up with a name for Jhanaka's thread stopping super weapon. I'm thinking Kiddlefoon the Thread Breaker.

I don't know about all of you, but my job description states I have to turn up and work using the policies and procedures set forth by my employer.

If I do not stick to those policies and procedures, I no longer have the job.

I like my job... and I'm sure the GMs enjoy theirs. So if I make a thread that goes against the policies and procedures that the GMs must adhere to, I expect them to lock it down.

Nobody is asking GMs to not do their job, nor is anyone saying they do a bad job. That's not what this thread is about, you're missing the point. It's worth noting that prior to the GM's response, some of the policy regarding this wasn't crystal clear.

I expressed some concern about a recent trend, and my concern was addessed in an excellent manner by someone who is clearly good at what they do. That really should have been the end of it. I feel like I'm being portrayed as some kind of bad guy here.

I understand the concern; though I felt like responding. As you can see the thread is still receiving replies in relation to the topic.

The post I shared was not directed particularly at you as I read your response to the GM.
