Wish they gave us more starting points in new game+

Wanted to replay through ng+ to check something out. I can't just rewatch cutscenes because what I wanted to see involved actual interactions and walking up to npcs in a specific instance.

Well, turns out NG+ is in halves. Which honestly... just makes me feel like I might as well play an alt at that point. You can't do any sort of scene selection or anything like that. If I'm going to put all that effort into revisiting one scene then I might as well clear the content for another character.

I, for one, would love to replay the final trial Vs Zenos - but I really don't want to go through the second half of Endwalker in it's entirety to do so.

If anything they ought to divide the starting points by zone.

I think I understand why they don't do it, but I kinda wish you gained exp in NG+. It'd be a fun way to relive the story while also leveling a new job.

But that'd pull people out of roulettes if it was better exp, and it's never a great idea to pull solo players away from group content imo

The stories would logically divide up nicely into five or six chapters per major expansion, and then one per patch.

Same here, I had to redo the whole 2nd half of EW twice on different characters just so that I can amuse myself with the final Zenos fight and its reeeeally infuriating that we dont have more more selective plot points. Heck I wish there was a section to at least let us re-experience the instanced battles (complete with the special cutscenes that happen in fight, such as the aforementioned Zenos battle where you have a fist fight with him. The Unending Journey cuts off that cutscene because its technically part of the battle and not a cutscene on its own)

That's part of the issue I have - whilst I'd love to replay the Zenos fight, doing so would involve playing the entire second-act of Endwalker. And whilst I'm not in the 'Endwalker sucks' camp, there were parts I didn't enjoy so much as others which I'm not overly keen to replay.
