Why wasn't it Ivalice?

Now this is only my opinion so don't get the stakes out, but ivalice world, was more war like, in FFXIV even tho we are in a battle againts this imaginary empire, there are no forts, no checkpoints, no camps, bases no nothing.....

But on topic, each numbered FF game is usually set in a different universe so that's probably why they didn't go with that.

↑↑↑ This is the most compelling reason for not returning to Ivalice. Even though the world was long established by the time FFXII came around , it hadn't yet appeared in any numbered FF previously.

Still, if SE was ever going to make an exception to that rule, I'd prefer they would make it for Ivalice.

And yes, the reason people like Ivalice is that it is by far the most detailed, serious, inspired and masterfully crafted world ever made by SE (and Matsuno). On a personal note, I liked that it had virtually none of the cliched dialogue or campy storylines that you see in Momotu Toriyama FF games.

Ivalice games deserve their own series really.

Why not ivalice? FFXIV started as a reboot to FFXI but thurned into a new MMO, there you go.

Guys then why not say why didn't they create it in the same world as FFVII or even Gaia with terra floating next to it in FFIX or hell even the same world that 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, or even 8 was set in. Want to know why they didn't because it was their choice their prerogative. They wanted something new which is what final fantasy always with some minor exceptions. A different world, a different history, a different story all together. Don't have them keep pulling the same things out or we will get tired of them. I honestly don't like the Viera from Ivalice, but I tolerate them if people want to be bunny women instead of cat women whatever but guys this is getting just as bad again like i said earlier how people wanted an 11 clone from the beginning. I want a new game a new world maybe different races and they don't have to be Viera they could make half dog like humans for all I care even walking dragons or Draconians© (I copyrighted that due to it being a name created by TSR I believe) but honestly they're not changing it into Ivalice and complaining about it isn't going to change that. Ivalice was beautiful yes but this world is just as beautiful (minus grid can't wait for that maze to burn down) and I like the world for what it is. I like freshness and that's why I play these games because they're always different and always improving on everything. Blah I'm ranting some I'm finishing this. Forgive me none of this is meant or said or even typed in anger it's just my thoughts on the issue again.
