Did MNKs deserve more in SB(lore wise)?

Before anything please feel free to correct me in anything lore related and/or change this post to the lore section if needed, didn't have clear where to put it

So, recently i did a SB new game+ due to me skipping major part of it the first time i played the game(reasons apart), and so to try to headcannon things i decided to mix a bit of MNK, NIN and SAM as the main jobs
It came to my surprise that MNK at literally any moment has no mention of it

Now let's go by parts
ARR doesn't have any special mentions that i can remember, maybe your race here and there but that's about it, and doesn't have to, so that' s fine

HW focused around dragons and something as important as the Azure Dragoon takes advantage of the Dragoon job lore quests and links it, mentioning you as the another Azure Dragoon here and there without exceding, but is there

SHB despite fitting i don't think DRK needed an interaction withing the expansion, it sure is the poster job and again the most fitting job to go along the "Warrior of darkness" title but at the same time it doesn't have to be linked

And in this last one in EW on 6.1 and foward if you have RPR as your main job you get quite a lot of mentions, due this being a forbidden Garlean art and most importantly vanished and prohibited long time ago, but at the same time fitting withing the lore with all the void and voidsents topic, so it fits well and is something greatful to have

Now comes SB with it's 3 main related jobs(lore wise), MNK, NIN and SAM
NIN gets a lot of justice on Yanxia, Yugiri recognizing you as a Shinobi from your previous training, praising you for NOT having ninja gear glamoured since you're going incognito mode, how the weapon she gives you will be easy for you to use because of again, your training, and lastly how Oboro would be proud of you for your actions and development
SAM, sadly doesn't get any special interaction to my understanding, but this can be more justified by it being but a common art in the far east wich wouldn't be seen as anything special, both imperial guards and Kugane ones use it too, so while it's sad i can kinda understand it
Now why the heck MNK doesn't have anything, at least on Gyr Abania?
The MNK order was supposed to be burned to the ground and is recently and thanks to you it's getting backed up with a new generation, something not seen in a lot of time, it really, really surprised me it gets NO special or even a mention in the MSQ, not by part of Lyse, not by the people on Rhalgr's Reach, literally anyone
I'm not asking for character to of course mention "YO IS THAT A MONK :OOOO" every 2 lines but i think MNK deserved quite a few lines regardling SB MSQ, to the point even healers(and don't get me wrong my first job being a WHM i appreciated a lot) gets a special interaction with Krile after the masacre

So yeah, is it fair to me to think MNK deserved maybe not more but just a bit on SB MSQ?

The MNK art is so old, rare and hidden, that you could argue nobody is even aware you are one, since you're just beating people up with fists.

For that, you need to do the MNK story. I leveled MNK when Stormblood launched to experience the story, knowing how relevant it was. I was only slightly disappointed, but my disappointment was resolved by the MNK quests in Shadowbringers, which were satisfying.

HW is the only time the player's job gets majorly acknowledged, because the dragoon job quests introduced Estinien. No other job quest NPCs have had a major role in the MSQ. A'Rhun Senna will get an extra voiced line in Endwalker if you've done the white mage quests (even if you're not a white mage at the time), but that's it.

Job quest and sidequest NPCs do also notice you in Seasonal Events. I've occasionally had them, such as random crafter/gatherer NPCs know who I am, or the thaumaturge one.

To be honest, I thought the poster expansion job was going to play somewhat of a role in that's expansion's MSQ ever since I did Heavensward and I was sorely disappointed that it never became a nice little trend in the narratives afterwards.

I suppose Dark Knight in Shadowbringers is kiiinda close to it but thats just more optionally thematic than an actual story acknowledgement where it serves as your identity specifically for you being a Dark Knight

Even then i don't expect nor want any job to have big relevancy, hell even Dragoon on HW only gets but a few mentions really(I would bet no more than what, 4?) since i understand it would be unfair to the rest of the jobs, to some extent, but again just like HW a mention here and there is more than perfect in this case with a job as linked to Gyr abania as it is MNK

Which was a bit of a mistake in my opinion. The DRG job quests in ARR and the way they connect to HW is just... a bit crazy. If you've done them, then you know.

Also, is it only A'Rhun Senna because I noticed that during that portion of EW(right before entering Garlemald) the more alt jobs you have the more npcs you can talk to in that instance.

Also, also. Monks got The Temple of the Fist dungeon.

Doesn't help that Monk had to share its poster boy slot with its younger and more popular brother, Samurai.

The job is infamous for being shafted by SE at pretty much every opportunity they can give. No 7th Chakra, no 14th/Light/Dark Chakra, no aura effect that other MNK NPCs have, middling job quest story with no actual relation or pay off to the liberation of Ala Mhigo (despite Widargelt's connection to Ala Mhigan royalty, too), the MSQ Monk rep is one of the most divisive and hated characters in the game, so on and so forth. It has a long history of this kind of stuff.
