I'm stuck in The Lost City of Amdapor with 3 bots at the moment.

We can't finish diablos because the bots just don't open doors.

Sadly this has become the norm in grouping of FF14.

With the closing of the major storyline, the jankiness of the crystal engine, and the flood of bots that have become all too normal in the game...

I think it's just healthy to retire the game for good.

Use the in game bots. I think trusts are available for that. Could be wrong.

I got into Amdapor Keep with 3 bots once. It only happened once in years of playing and far beyond the 10k dungeon achievement...

Not that you need to mess with doors to finish that dungeon. You can heal and mit through it and just DPS it down. I do this and usually am bemused when someone does the door mechanic because it interrupts my rotation.

Use the in game bots. I think trusts are available for that.

It's not an MSQ dungeon.

Are bots really that common? I've only been playing since like Stormblood, but I don't think I've come across anyone in queues that I'd think are a bot. Some kinda clueless new players, sure, but not bots. Unless they're way, way better than they were in wow

The difference is that the game is heavily scripted, there has been videos of bots clearing savage, and for open world the bots are all noclipped into the ground. Basically the game has an even bigger bot problem than WoW but people dont care.

Wish I could say the same about catgirls in 2b leggins or chocobo/elephant head samurais.

I've only ever ran into two bots.

And can't blame the catgirls for the 2B legging over usage. If the devs would just make the 2B leggings the default lower body shape for all female characters races then they wouldn't wear them as much. Probably something skimpier, lmao!

One person alone can open both doors of a pair. Just do the first door early. If you leave it for later you can also just solo it unsynced and skip all the mechanics for all bosses.

I mean... you don't need anyone other than yourself to open those doors.

Not that it makes having bots better, but I'm a bit surprised such a simple mechanic stopped you.

Also, I've been playing for 10 years. I've never had this happen to me a single time. Not saying that it can't happen, but this is hardly the "norm".

Anyway.

I'd ask if I could have your stuff but if a dungeon like that has you stuck...you wouldn't really have anything.
