Please add an option to turn off crafting visual effects

And sounds effect from crafting too please, people shouldnt have to mute the entire game sound effects just so they are not welcomed by a construction site the second they dare step a foot in Limsa

There's already an option to mute that, System Config > Sound Settings > Sounds Effects (or with System Sounds or Mastervolume)

Might not be as bad as you think.

I just went to Limsa on Coeurl and toggled Sound Effects on/off. The only noticeable change was not hearing the weird noise that Aetherytes make if I was standing close to the Aetheryte. If I moved a bit into Hawkers Alley, there was no change at all. Most of the sound was BGM and Ambience. There were no BRDs playing but that's controlled under Performance, not Sound Effects.

I was on alt that isn't in very many linkshells though. If you relay on notification sounds for chat channels, that might be an issue. Then again, those might by controlled by System Sounds.
