    I wish the blue aura from BotD was there when you have 1 or more eyes.     Piercing Talon needs an upgrade as well and I also wish our 5th positional became stronger and had a new animation but only in that position, the 4th would stay the same.

    Oh, and make Raiden Thrust and Draconian Fury a permanent upgrade. True Thrust and Doom Spike are imho outdated (and kinda ugly, less so for DoS I guess...) animations and you only mostly use them once per fight and downtime phase.
    I just think the Spring would look much better if it started grounded and ended in a small jump, right now the second you press it you are floating, just a quick jump like the 123 MCH combos, first you start doing the swipe attack grounded but then you jump and end with the small dive animation.

    The instant air jump happens because the ability is based on an attack used by some mobs like Raiden (I think...?) in BA. I got quite surprised when I saw him using it. They didn't really make it from scratch.

    Talking about Monk here, there needs to be some animation updates, True Strike and Snap Punch are probably the 2 that need it most. Things like Dolphin Blow or adding more kicking animations. Something like a Somersault animation would have been good, but they put it into Celestial Revolution, which you never see.

    Onto MCH, the only animation I really think needs an update is Gauss Round, it just gets lost. I'm thinking maybe something along the lines of much more recoil on the character and an animation that indicates a high speed projectile. I'm thinking a bright blue beam of light with circles that pop out of it, almost like a sonic boom effect.

    From the DPS I play often, that is all I have, mainly taking the more boring animations and breathing new life into them.

    I rarely touch monk, but it's crazy that they thought it was a good idea to put such an interesting animation into something that is considered a gameplay mistake for the job. Not gonna lie, but that and the action's name could even be a sprout trap.

    Agreed, Monk's visual and sound effects are both showing their age pretty fiercely particularly when it comes to its core weaponskills. I'd also add Rockbreaker and Bootshine to the Monk skills that need an overhaul. Bootshine is a level 1 skill with all of the sound and visual flare that that implies but even though it now has Leaden Bootshine making it one of the job's strongest weaponskills it's never gotten the Raiden Thrust treatment. Rockbreaker not only hasn't aged well, but it uses the same animations it had when it was a conal AOE just with the particle effect shooting in four direction now that it's circular and it looks all the more awkward for it.

    I'd also say Elixir field could use a visual update since firing a hadoken at the ground is inherently kind of silly and subjectively it still feels like an oGCD animation to me since it was an oGCD for half a decade, but I'm pretty confident that it's front line for a level 93 Trait that changes its name, animation, and adds 50 potency in 7.0.

    Maybe it's a hot take, but I never liked the idea of Elixir Field appearing that proeminently with the single target rotation.

    It looks cool, but hella misplaced with boss fights. 99% of the bosses are huge and the animation looks a bit off when you do the hadouken at the boss' feet.

    As a long time Red mage main, I would love if they leaned into the idea of RDM summoning swords to fight like fleche and contre sixte. Yeah its removed pretty far from the basic idea of balancing white and black magic that red mages are known for but the developers are already showing that they are running out of ideas to move red mage forward with with Endwalker just giving an alright mitigation in the current raid tier, skill upgrades which are more for visual appearance than anything else, and an albeit cool looking but ultimately meh finisher for the sword combo.

    Bring back Axe Kick from old PVP (frontflip into slam heel on ground, cause AOE cracks on floor)

    For DRG stuff, the problem with Spring for me is that it's too 'floaty'. If it were more like... Phantom Rush? Where the DRG bounces around much quicker, jumping 'off of air' like in the SHB trailer, it'd probably feel better to me. Then again I don't really play DPS much so I'm probably not allowed an opinion on them

    I'll just echo a previous post and say my main, WHM, deserves better than just another expansion of twinkly lights with Glare/Dia. Give us Quake Tornado and Flood, give BLM Burst somehow to round out the set, and if they're not giving our elements back, at least let us have another GCD to use like Banish or something

    Give Bootshine the Raiden Thrust treatment already, it sucks. Upgrade Elixir Field too. I know there are people that love it because it's just a Kamehameha, but the novelty wears off quickly when you realise how goofy it looks in isolation, especially when it's a GCD now. I'm not a fan of Rising Phoenix either because it looks to Dancer-y to me, (yes I am aware its original name is Fire Dance) but I don't see them touching it anytime soon if ever.

    Flint Strike is a slightly modified Axe Kick (which is also something you never see if you don't play Monk in lower level content). As far as my very limited knowledge of ARR/HW MNK goes the attacks that haven't returned in some form are old GCDs like One Ilm Punch, Touch of Death, Haymaker, etc. Shoulder Tackle too I guess.

    If they don't want to give more rotational complexities to the healer fillers, at least make new dps tools under special occasions:

    Blood Lily invokes the wrath of the Elementals - Afllatus Misery turns into a Continuation-esque combo after it's used: Tornado (aoe + dot) > Quake (aoe + slow debuff, the one that make enemy autoattacks slower) > Flood (line aoe + splash healing on friendly targets)
